On the Live and High City are joining hands to enter public education in Indonesia. On the 29th, the two companies held the launch ceremony 'ROAD TO SKILMAN' at El Tower in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.
The event was attended by officials including Efendy Tjoeng, global chairman of SARI Teknologi, a robot and unmanned technology company under Indonesia's Royal Group, On the Live CEO Yang Sung-wook, and HiCT CEO Choi Hyeong-wook.
SKILMAN, a consortium of OntheLive and HiCT, is an abbreviation for STEAM, Korea, Indonesia, Learning Management System (LMS), and Manpower. Both companies plan to provide STEAM education related to robots and AI education to Indonesia.
Steam education is an abbreviation for the first letters of the alphabet of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, and refers to education that increases interest and understanding of science and cultivates convergent thinking skills and practical problem-solving skills.
On the Live is a company specializing in developing two-way video communication solutions. HiCT is a company that provides various creative convergence experience programs such as robots, coding, drones, VR, 3D printers, and AI.
Through this contract, On the Live will provide Indonesia with an AI dubbing solution to localize LMS and content into Indonesian and English. The LMS is operated based on the Internet, but it also supports a mobile server, so it can be used even if the Internet environment is unstable.
HiCT and IPA (Korea IT Business Promotion Association) are responsible for providing learning content. HiCT plans to provide a stem education course containing basic contents of the 4th industry, including robots, and IPA plans to provide content related to big data and AI to elementary, middle, and high schools in Indonesia.

In the case of Indonesia, companies engaged in the education business can propose a curriculum to the government, and when adopted, it can become a standard curriculum. Accordingly, SKILMAN plans to proceed with localization work in Indonesia and proceed with a proposal based on Korea's STEAM education curriculum.
Yang Seong-wook, CEO of On the Live, said on the day, "This agreement is the first step toward entering the Indonesian market." He added, "Indonesia has an abundant workforce, but lacks experience in new industries, so they are seeking to improve productivity through robots and AI and find the missing experience through education. “The vision of this business is SKIL MAN,” he explained.
Hyungwook Choi, CEO of HiCT, said, “I am thrilled to be able to apply domestic educational content to Indonesian education.” He added, “I hope that Korea and Indonesia will become the IT centers of the world through technological exchanges with Indonesia, which has the fourth largest population in the world.”
Zahja B. Soinnarjo, Global Chairman of Sari Technology Global, said, “With this contract, Indonesia has an important opportunity to lead the Industry 4.0 era,” and added, “The partnership between Korean companies and Sari Technology Global will expand into areas such as education, manufacturing, entertainment and medical care.” “I hope it will be done across various sectors,” he said.
